Imagine a place where kids, teens, and families can learn, play, celebrate, and Escape the everyday.
We’re creating an amazing destination for the youth of our community, by actually talking to the youth of our community.
We didn’t want A Skate Escape to simply be a business. Our hope is that it becomes a place where kids and teens can build better futures and have fun at the same time. That’s one of the reasons why we’re reaching out to the next generation – kids from 10 – 22 – throughout Tyrol and asking them what they want A Skate Escape to offer.
What do they do for fun? How can we help with their education? What can we do to improve their career outlook after school? What do they need in their world to stay on the right track so they can make their dreams real?
We’re asking and they’re sharing some amazing thinking.
Our hope is to make a difference as well as a profit.
We’re shaping our business around the real-world needs of our community. Through a website, much like this one, kids and teens are sharing their ideas about the amenities and services they want us to offer – from the types of entertainment we provide to the foods we serve to everything in between – kids and teens have a real voice in creating A Skate Escape.
It’s more than fun and games
Of course, we’ll provide loads of fun. A skating rink, game room, state-of-the-art simulators, live entertainment and a whole lot more is on tap. But to be a true destination for the next generation and for generations yet to come, we’re going to offer services designed to make a meaningful impact.

SHERRI HOFER – Founder & CEO
A Skate Escape is the inspired vision of Südtirol resident Sherri Hofer. Sherri is an active mother in the community and is committed to helping our youth accelerate their success by providing a positive, healthy, hopeful, giving and fun environment for them to discover their strengths and be empowered to achieve their dreams. Sherri has prospered from a successful business career in Financial Management and is using that success to create A Skate Escape so that our youth have a place to go, be heard, belong, create, achieve and succeed. Sherri is an athlete that enjoys tennis, running, bicycling and quad-skating. Sherri is also passionate about Health and Wellness and is a Holistic Vision Trainer… and wow does she have a “vision for the future of our youth!”
